Scent that Moves

There was a time in my life when I was trying to mask certain aromas that might accumulate on me throughout the day. Adidas Moves 0:01 for Men was one of the fragrances that I tried and actually enjoyed. It has a sporty, fruit-like flavor to it. The fragrance itself is composed of the following: Mandarin, Green bergamot, Violet leaves, White musk, Freesia, Cardamom, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Green pear, Coriander, Amber. The Mandarin and Green pear really add a distinct flavor to this cologne. It has a very masculine edge to it, though. Imagine playing a game of pick-up basketball. You're hot and sweaty but you want to smell nice when you go back out in public. This scent does the trick. This is something that could be worn out on the town or to just freshen up around the house. It's cheap too. You can get a 1 oz bottle of this fragrance for under $15 at www.fragrancenet.com

Scent of a First Date

I was going on my first date with a friend that I had known since elementary school and I wanted to smell nice. There was a reason why I had that funny feeling in my stomach. Yes, I had had a crush on her since I was 14 years old, so I wanted to smell good. I had the good fortune to get my hands on some Mambo by Liz Claiborne. Mambo definitely has a unique scent. Even though its been around for several years, it can still be readily found pretty much anywhere that cologne is sold, including Walgreens. And it's fairly inexpensive. What I like best about this cologne is its different. Instead of a sharp, alcohol smelling scent, it has a very masculine elegance to it. There is a very rich, sweet smell that comes from the combination of bergamot, lime, sage, thyme, cinnamon leaf, cumin, cedarwood, patchouli, musks, sandalwood, and fir balsam. Boy that was a mouthful! Now I bet you can see what I'm talking about. I've listed a website where it can be purchased relatively inexpensively.

Burberry Brit for Men

I knew I had come across something different when I first sampled Burberry Brit inside of a department store during an out of the ordinary trip to the mall. I hardly ever go to the mall anymore, but on this day I found myself inside of the Belk department store and with a little time to kill. So you know what that meant. That's right...I was gonna smell some cologne! Most of them had the same alcohol-based smell. I was even disappointed by some of the celebrity name brand colognes. Everything smelled the same. Then I came to Burberry Brit for Men. I'm telling you what. That is a cologne! They are really doing something different. There is a smell of spice that is unusual and that you don't find worn much in America. Ginger, cardamon, mandarin, bergamot, along with cedar, nutmeg, and a pinch of wild rose really bring this fragrance to life and make it something different. The scent brings to mind images of exotic, almost Biblical lands, places where spices were traded after making the journey on the back of a camel. Burberry has always held a special place in my heart as their womens' fragrances could make a man delirious. After doing some research online, I found a couple of websites that offered Burberry Brit at a fraction of the retail cost that you can expect to pay in a high-end department store. This is one cologne that I'm anxious to try out.
